		<description>Hi,
I am masters student in UCC and I am currently undergoing an assignment to do with Chris Andersons &#039;Long Tail&#039;. I have to pick a website that I believe is using this idea of the long tail and write a report on that website.

I have decided to use armchair.ie as my website.

I see armchair.ie as supporting Irish business by using the &#039;long tail&#039;. Instead of Irish people shopping on the big websites like amazon or ebay you are facilitating them to shop local (even if that is nationally). I see this as pushing people down the &#039;long tail&#039;.

I am not sure if you are familiar with this concept, but would love to know your thoughts on my hypothesis!! And perhaps any comments you would like to make about the site. Wikipedia give a good overview of what the long tail is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Tail

Any help at all would be much appreciated,
yours sincerely
